Color Lore

16th July 2025

Written by Lynn Pong Jing En

Did you know that bleu and orange colors go well together? Would pastel colors do the same? Artists endow their tenacity in imbuing color theory into their masterpieces. Complementary color accentuates the contrast in Art, which brings out flavor in works from various painters. Amateur to professional, there would always be something to learn from in people with the affinity for Art. Claude Monet is a French painter who died in 1926. Yet, he is known to people of our era today, creating a verbatim of immortality through his pristine knowledge in Art of his we always pass down. No, people haven’t changed. Historical persons translate into modern trends. With his pastel touch, Claude Monet invents coquette aesthetics that generation Z appreciates. Fever tickets sell well as Singaporeans are interested in Claude Monet’s exhibition.

Shifting perspectives through the tinted lens of Singapore, individuals are enthralled by the talent that Claude Monet possessed. Often, influencers incorporate coquette themes as their online persona that contributes to the advocacy of avant garde in contemporary society. Singapore resonates to Art encompassing their personal engagement and then curation of fresh masterpieces. Thus, “self-expression” grows enchanted over time for a young country winning ahead of the curve. She loves to sing during national day.

Some people wrestle with the fear of oblivion in the quiet hours of night. What happens when we die? What if I’m forgotten? Where does consciousness go when we’re unconscious? These questions echo in solitude. “I fret,” they whisper, “she sings joyfully during National Day.” A strange dissonance emerges—between personal identity and national allegiance, especially in moments that demand unity. That is mahogany! they exclaim, a metaphor for the richness and confusion of belonging.

In crucial times, many gaze across borders, imagining greener pastures. “I don’t identify as a Singaporean,” some declare. “I identify as a human being.” And yet, when children cry in the dark, it is song that brings light—melodies that cradle innocence into sleep. Altruism, in this context, becomes a remedy: a reflection of one’s own medicine offered to another.

Singaporeans are often seen as impressionable—not due to a lack of culture, but because their culture is still unfolding, still being sung. These unsung lyrics challenge the nation’s resolve, carried forward by the timeless vessel of melody. Opportunities arise for Singaporeans to present themselves with grace before loved ones. And in the digital age, communities bloom through trust in local voices and brands on social media.

My pleasure.

I volunteer as tribute.
